Obituary of Dorothy Helen Miller

Dorothy Miller, 96, of Moncton, passed away at McNair Manor in Riverview, NB on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born in Stellarton, NS; on November 12, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Isabel (MacIntosh) Hayman. She was employed as a Telephone Operator with NS Tel prior to WW II, it was then she met her husband Harry and got married and became a stay home mom and raised her family. She was a member of Mount Royal United Church in Moncton and was a member of the UCW, which she enjoyed very much. She is survived by two sons Brent Miller and John Miller both of Moncton; daughter-in-law Martha Miller of Edmonton, AB. five grandsons and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her Husband Harry Miller in 1976, by a son Harry Jr. and by her brothers Joseph and Brenton Hayman. At Dorothy's request there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home The graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, East River Rd. New Glasgow, NS on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:30 pm with Rev. John Roy officiating. Donations in Dorothy's Memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
