Obituary of Raymond "Ray" W. Ayles
Ray Ayles, age 73 years of McDougall Settlement, passed away on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital with his daughter by his side. Born in Moncton on March 31st, 1936; he was the son of the late Lawrence and Celvina (Erman) Ayles.
Ray worked most of his life as a Heavy Machinery Operator in New Brunswick and Ontario. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Barbara Aitchison (Glenn) of North Carolina, Susan Paquette (Denis) of Ontario, and Deborah Rossi (Rico) of Germany; sister Sheila Thibodeau (Norman) of Riverview; brothers Myles (Alice) Ayles of Moncton, Alvin (Darleen) Ayles of Moncton, and Herbie (Nancy) Ayles of Ontario; six grandchildren Chalene, Travais, Chantelle (Doug), Breanne, Rico and Nicole; also by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Jeannette Ayles in 2003; brothers Fred, Lawrence, Bobby, Ronnie; and sister Stella.
Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 from 7:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday, October 21th, 2009 from 10:00am-1:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 21th, 2009 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating. In memory of Ray, donations made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
