Obituary of Clara Grace Nye
Clara Grace Nye of Riverview passed away at Monarch Hall, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Born in New Glascow, NS, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Stella (Best) Keating.
Clara had many passions in life; She was an avid lover of flowers, she will be remembered by many for the beautiful gardens she kept. Clara was known for her love of animals, throughout the years she had many beloved cats to which she gave the best home, she also enjoyed spending time with her grand dogs.
Clara was also known for her creative streak, she held many talents such as painting, rug hooking and quilting. For many years she enjoyed contributing her time to the Riverview bowling leagues. Though her greatest passion in life was her family, to which she gave the most unconditional love.
Clara is survived by her cherished friend, Bill Marshall; her daughter, Maria Pimentel (Glen) of Miramichi, NB; son, Anthony Nye of Riverview; sister, Patsy Maillet (Leo); brother, Arnold Keating; granddaughter, Rebecca Mackinnon (Steven) of Halifax; great-granddaughter, Leah; she is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Honouring Clara’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, May 30 at 10:30am.
