My deepest sympathies to the Harris Family, B-Y was an amazing person and very well respected in all of EMS. He was very passionate in his services within MCMC dispatch within Ambulance NB and we chatted about many things within the OHS program, always speaking up and looking out for his colleagues. He will be missed by many and always met me in the hallways at John St. with a hello and always asking how things were going. Rest well my friend! Marcus MacDonald, retired Team Lead, Employee Health Services, MHSNB.

My condolences to all the Family on the loss of B-Y. He was a great guy and he loved his son very, very much. I met B-Y in CUPE functions and very recently, he co-taught a Financial Officer course on PEI - I was glad I had the time to meet up with him there. My deepest condolences.

Our little Hilltop community will miss you Bryan.
You first introduced yourself to me as Bryan with a “Y”, to which I replied I’m Lynn with a “Y” I did not know at the time that you were fondly known as “B-Y”
By nature, Bryan had a calmness, and a great sense of humour, alongside his loving, caring way, that just put a person at ease. It was this quality that emanated in both his work and personal life, amongst his colleagues, friends, and family. Bryan spoke often of activities planned for him, and his dear son, Findley, whether it was just chilling around the backyard fire pit, camping, or another adventure.
Bryan loved nothing more in this world than his son, Findley. This was so clear to see, and this is when Bryan was at his most happiest.
A fond memory of one such a fun occasion, was when a projector was introduced to the Town of Riverview Tower, yes that tower, lol. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all present, and included SpongeBob Squarepants, and a good game of Mario Brothers.
It was clear in passing conversation, how dearly he loved his Mom Sharon, and how close they were. We now pray for you Sharon, for God’s strength alongside you, and in the days ahead. May you be comforted in knowing that many loved and will always cherish your son, Bryan. He contributed so much of himself to making his colleagues journey better, and for those they assist each day.
We pray for Bryan’s brother Kevin, that his memories of Bryan will be of comfort to him.
Family was everything to Bryan. He loved you all so very much. May you all, in sharing the times you each spent with Bryan, bring some comfort to you all.
The adoration and love he had for you, Findley was immeasurable. Such love will always be with you.
You carry a part of your Dad within you, and with such, you will surely become a man, your Dad would be proud of.
His spirit will guide you in life, and his legacy will continue on through you. A father’s love will remain with you always.
So, in each of our own memories of Bryan, and in our prayers for all the Harris family, the extended family, and Bryan’s colleagues/friends, may we say these words to you….
Dear Bryan, It is not goodbye, but only goodnight.
Until we meet again.
You made this world a better place.
The love you imparted in this life to many, will always remain.
May you rest in peace now. You were truly loved by many.

My sincere condolences to Sharon, Mike, Kevin, and all the family.
My family and I were saddened to hear about Bryan’s sudden passing. I still have many fond memories of camping trips, music jams, and road trips shared with him. I remember whenever my family would ask how he’s doing, he’d always reply “Toujours bien!” with a smile on his face.
Wishing you all to be surrounded by supportive and caring people to help navigate these difficult days, weeks, months and years ahead.

Sending my deepest and most sincere condolences to BY’s friends and family. You did so much for the labour movement in New Brunswick and across Canada, championing the rights of 911 dispatchers / paramedics and workers everywhere. Your dedication, compassion, and advocacy made a lasting impact on countless lives.
You were a truly genuine friend, and your kindness and support will never be forgotten. Rest easy, my friend.

I had the privilege of participating on a committee with B-Y the last two and a half years and know the world is now missing someone who dedicated most of his life to help people. He spoke frequently of his love for music, the Canadian, and most importantly his son. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I was fortunate to be B-Y’s neighbour for many years. Our little community is deeply saddened by his passing. Hilltop will never forget the many memories we shared, whether gathered around a campfire or chatting in the driveway before heading off to work.
B-Y brought laughter and friendship wherever he went. We shared many drinks, stories, and good times over the years. One thing I will always remember is how proudly he spoke of his son. His love and pride were evident in every conversation.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him ❤️

I am a friend of Bryan's Aunt Heather. It's obvious that kindness, compassion and selflessness run in your family.
No wonder he was loved so much and dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
I hope you find peace in the fond memories that you shared together. May God carry all of you through this difficult time of sadness.
Hugs and prayers,
Kerrin and Darryl Perrin

He will greatly be missed. Never forgotten.
This was the day my friendship with B-Y began, here with a bunch of amazing friends. We laughed so much that night.
A fun evening I will remember forever.

My sympathies to family, if someone had your back, it was B-Y, during my 15 years at Medic Center, you were the rock and backbone, “B-Y comes with the furniture” we used to say, found this old picture of night shift crew back in the days, the mandoline was hiding under the desk!
RIP, music lives in your memory! Was an honour to know you.

For more than 16 years, BY was a dedicated officer, mentor, and friend to our Local. He believed in supporting members, standing up for what was right, and helping the next generation of union leaders find their footing.
His loss leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his impact on our Local will be felt for many years to come.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and especially his son during this difficult time.
Local 4848 will be donating to Sistema Moncton on behalf of B-Y.
In solidarity,
CUPE Local 4848
