Obituary of Floyd Allison Teed

Floyd Allison Teed passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 87 years.

Born in Dorchester, NB, he was the son of the late Burton Edmond and Winnifred (Crawford) Teed. Floyd enjoyed a long career as a glazier with Economy Glass.

Floyd loved hunting and fishing and cherished any opportunity to spend time outdoors, surrounded by nature. 

Floyd is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lyla (Arsenault) Teed; daughters, Heather (Trina) Bertin of Moncton, Kim (Mark) Mahoney and Penny (Danny) Boucher, all of Moncton; brother, Donald (Connie) Teed of Edmonton, AB; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Floyd was predeceased by his sons, Kirk and Derrick; brothers, Gerald, Ray and Wayne; and sisters, Vera Barrs, Margaret Boudreau and Hazel Wilbur (late Harold).

A graveside committal service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, 200 Elmwood Dr., Moncton, on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 3:30 pm.
