Obituary of Mildred “Mickey” Francis Scott
Mickey Scott, of Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the age of 72 years.
Born in Moncton, NB on June 8, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Constance (Chappell) Crozman. Mildred retired from Sobeys in 1988. She was an active member of The Riverview Recreation Center where she enjoyed organizing and participating in different events. She will be remembered by many for her passion of gardening, baking and most of all the love she shared with her family.
Left with fond memories are her daughters Beverly Power (Chet Ellsworth) of PE, Donna (Stephen) Bannister of Pine Glen, Debbie (Jim) Blakney of Stilesville, and Lorrie (Mike) Fraser of Riverview; son Jim (Dawn) Scott of Upper Coverdale; sister Patricia (Cecil) Marshall of BC; brothers Leonard (Lorraine) Crozman of BC, Robert "Bob" (Sheila) Crozman of ON, Raymond (Grace) Crozman of BC, and Danny (Diane) Crozman of ON; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; also by her special niece and best friend Diana Crossman of Pine Glen.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Jim Scott in 1988; sister Muriel "Tootie" Rogers; and brother William "Bill" Crozman.
Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating.
Interment will be in The Harcourt Presbyterian Cemetery in the spring.
In Mickey's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Renovating the Spirit Campaign or to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
