Obituary of Michael A. Bourque

Michael A. Bourque of Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday January 5, 2006 at the age of 65 years. Born in Moncton, NB on October 25, 1940 he was the son of the late Albert and Rachel (DeGrace) Bourque. Michael was a sales associate with Moncton Saturn, he retired on December 17, 2005 after many years in the automotive industry. He was a Past President of the Moncton Kinsmen Club, a former member of the Beausejour Curling Club, also he was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Riverview. He is survived by his wife Marilyn E. (Steeves) Bourque; daughter Michelle Bourque; son Grant (Stacey) Bourque all of Riverview; brother Paul (Joan) Bourque of Ajax, ON, also by nieces Kim and Kristy. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Bruce Bourque in 2005. At his request there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home on Monday January 9, 2006 at 11:00 am with Father Jeff Doucette officiating. There will be a reception following the service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
