Obituary of Dow Leslie Knox
Dow L. Knox, of Moncton, passed away unexpectedly at his residence, on Saturday, February 08, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Born in Chipman, NB he was the son of the late John L. "Jack" and Arvilla (Currie) Knox. Dow enjoyed antique cars, old country music, and above all he enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandson Riley who was always reminded that he was "Poppa's little man".
He is survived by his wife Myrna Knox of Moncton; step daughter Tammy Surette (Terry Boutilier) of Moncton; step sons Dean Brown (Barb) of Boundry Creek, Clinton Brown (Viola) of Edmonton, Doug Brown (Delaina) of North Bay, ON, and Phillip Brown of Saskatoon; sister Lorraine Stiles (Rob) of Perth Andover; brother Sandy Knox (Allegra) of Shediac Cape; several grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his step son Dale Brown; brothers Todd, Jim and Otis; sisters Eunice and an infant sister Maggie.
A celebration of life will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 between the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Donations in Dow's memory made to a living memorial to help the family in their time of need, would be appreciated.
