Obituary of Donna E. Duffy

Donna E. (Demmings) Duffy of Monarch Hall, Riverview, NB and formerly of Salisbury Road in Moncton, NB entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born in Chipman, NB on June 1, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Daisy (Fairweather) Demmings.Prior to retirement, Donna was employed with Staples drugs for twenty two years, and previous to that with Shoppers Drug Mart (Highfield Square) for fourteen years. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald E.(Kim) Duffy and Tracy (Gail) Duffy; grandchildren Paige, Alyson, Jenna, and Adam; sister Mary (Keith) West; brothers Clayton (Connie) Demmings, Lloyd (Thelma) Demmings; nieces, nephews, and her long time best friend Lena Newman. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ronald H. Duffy in (2006); sister Muriel (Demmings) Murphy; brother Corbet Fairweather, and infant brother Sammie. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. A service celebrating Donna's life will be held from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz Street on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 1:00pm with Rev. Gordon James officiating. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery. In Donna's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of South East NB and the Uplands Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
