Obituary of Douglas Alan London

Doug London, 63, of Fredericton, and Moncton; passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2012 in Moncton. Born in Moncton on May 29, 1949, he is the son of Elizabeth "Betty" (Jonah) London and the late Milton London. Doug was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed travelling where ever his passion home renovations took him. He was an avid card player and enjoyed playing cards with his Tuesday Night Card Buddies. He will be sadly missed by his mother Betty London of Moncton; his partner Jane Higgins and her daughter Sarah both of Fredericton; his children Jennifer of Yellowknife, Yukon and Joshua (Isabelle) of Moncton; three brothers Arnold (Heidi) London of Lakeburn, Barry (Dawn) London of Dieppe and Gordon London of Moncton; brother-in-law Peter Pacey of Fredericton; one nephew, two nieces, as well as his many friends. He was predeceased by his father Milton London in 1974, his brother Allison in 1966 and by his sister Diane London-Pacey in 2004. Doug's memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB. Donations in Doug's memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
