Obituary of Donna E. Carroll

Donna E. Carroll, age 55 years, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, March 8th, 2008, following a courageous six and a half year battle with breast cancer. Born on May 8th, 1952; in Sydney Mines, NS; she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Mackenzie) Taylor. Donna was a devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed knitting, crafting, and cooking for her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband John L. Carroll; daughter Elaine and her husband Patrick Russell of Riverview; son Michael Carroll of Kingston ON; sister Norma and her husband Dr. George Boyd of Sydney Forks NS; brother Dr. Bill Taylor and his wife Carol or Riverview; also by several nieces and nephews. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road Riverview, NB on Monday March 10th, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Fr. Bernard Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Sydney Mines, NS in the spring.
