Obituary of Dorothy Rose MacDonald

Dorothy Rose MacDonald, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the age of 90 years. Born in River Hebert, NS on December 3, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Gates) Wolfe. She was an active member of Wesley Memorial United Church. She was a member of the UCW and the choir within the chruch. Dorothy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life including her family, and playing bridge with friends. She is survived by her husband David MacDonald; son Richard MacDonald (Diane Comeau) of Moncton; sister Irene Richards of River Hebert, NS; brother Donald Wolfe of Pictou, NS; two grandchildren Lisa Geldart, and Craig MacDonald; four great grandchildren Lauryn and Ian Geldart, and Cassidy and Ryan MacDonald; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Helen; brothers Darrell, Roy, Murray, and Arnold. At her request there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in River Hebert Cemetery. Donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
