Obituary of Della F. Stevens

Della F. Stevens formerly of Howard Ave Riverview passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Tuesday March 7, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Born in Turtle Creek, NB she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ida (Wilson) Berry. She was a member of Gunningsville United Baptist Church. She was a Charter and Life member of the O.E.S. Fidelity Chapter # 36. Survived by several nieces and nephews, She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband M. Jackson Stevens in July 1969, by seven sisters, Ethel, Laurena, Clara, Orphy, Leona, Bernice and Mabel and by a brother, Purdy. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday March 8, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Eastern Star Fidelity Chapter # 36 will be holding a prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday March 9, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Della's memory, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to The NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
