Obituary of Dr. Anne-Marie Wall
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anne-Marie Wall, 41, of Toronto and formerly of Riverview.
Her death comes following a brief illness on Thursday, December 8, 2005, in Toronto.
Born in St. John's NL, she was the daughter of the late Terence and Thelma (Sullivan) Wall of Pouch Cove, NL.
Anne-Marie was an Associate Professor of Psychology at York University in Toronto.
She leaves to mourn her husband Ian Swayze of Toronto, her adoring adopted family, Jim and Marnie Wall of Riverview, Blair Wall of Toronto, and Andrea Wall of Sackville, her much loved siblings Jennifer Hiscock (Bill) of Ottawa, Terry Wall (Julie) of Riverview, and Stephen Wall (Jennifer) of Toronto.
She also leaves to mourn two nieces Ashley and Nicole, and her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anne-Marie was a friend to all who knew her.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Monday, December 12, 2005, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
A Prayer Vigil and sharing of memories will be held at the Funeral Home, Monday evening at 8:30 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Doucette officiating.
A memorial mass will also be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at 10:30 AM at Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Pouch Cove, NL.
Donations in Anne-Marie's memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by her family.
