Obituary of Gerard J. Thibodeau

Gerard Thibodeau, of Moncton passed away at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Edmond and Lina (Vieneau) Thibodeau. Gerard retired from the Canadian National Railway. He is survived by four sons Victor (Gwen) of Lakeside, Omer (Connie), Valmond (Eunice), and Frank (Theresa) all of Moncton; sister: Dora (Ola) Boudreau of Shediac; brothers Ivan Thibodeau of Alberta, BC, Henry Thibodeau of Shediac, Roger Thibodeau of Moncton; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Nora Richard; sister Lorraine Bourgeois; brothers Joseph Thibodeau, Lionel Thibodeau and Akila Thibodeau. A funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday June 17th, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Jeff Irving officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Gerard's memory made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
