Obituary of Sandra Jean Hodder

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Sandra Hodder, 67 years, of Moncton, at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital following a brief illness on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Born in Glace Bay, NS on November 4, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Hilda (Budgell) Chant. Sandra was a proud supporter of Mobile One Community Services since their very first run in 2002, whether she was serving lunch to the needy or preparing food boxes she was always willing to help. She enjoyed socialising with her Dart Team from Sunny Brae. Sandra shared the greatest love with her family, especially her grandchildren, she was the best Nanny a child could have ever wanted. Survived by her loving husband of 40 years Ken Hodder; daughters Alana and Becky Hodder both at home; son Stanley Hodder (Amanda Luke) of Memramcook; grandson Landon of Memramcook; grand daughter Jamie at home; several nieces and nephews.. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Friday, July 6, 2012 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jeff Irving officiating. Following the service there will be a reception held at the Sunny Brae Legion. In Sandra's memory donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
