Obituary of Elodie M. Chisholm
Elodie M. Chisholm, 98, of Dieppe, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, January 30, 2006.
Born in Memramcook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Philomene (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
She was the former Proprietress of Chisholm Motel and Cabins, Dieppe. She was a member of Paroisse Ste-Therese, Dieppe and the Club D'Age D'Or de Dieppe. Elodie's many hobbies include music, bowling, cards, gardening and spending the summers at the cottage.
She is survived by three daughters, Colleen and her husband Arthur Girouard, Jeannette and her husband Boyd Touchie, Carol and her husband Roger LeBlanc all of Moncton; six grandchildren, Louise, Monique, Colin, Graham, Jason, and Rogette; six great grandchildren, Lucas and Ananda, Ariane and Chloe, Marieve and Miguel; one brother, Alfred 'Fred' LeBlanc of Saint- Anselme, several nieces, nephews and caregiver and friend Raymonde Porelle.
She was predeceased by her husband Colin Chisholm, four sisters Domethilde, Dorilla, Ella and Agnes and by three brothers Eugene, Yvon and Laurie.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
The Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Dieppe on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Paul Breau officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring.
Donations in Elodie's memory made to Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
