Obituary of Joseph S. Smith

Joseph Smith, 80, of Cherryfield, NB; passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Moncton, NB; and was the son of the late Ross and Laura (Coates) Smith. Joseph attended Cherryfield Baptist Church and was a retired sales clerk for Cameron Ashley Building Products with over 25 years service. He is survived by his devoted wife Wildia (Budd) Smith; three sons Joey (Sharon) Smith of Moncton, Scott (Linda) Smith of Dundas, Kevin (Joanne) Smith of Moncton; sister Carole Smith of Moncton; two brothers Wayne Smith and David Smith all of NB; also by eight loving grandchildren Justine (Nathan), Alisse (Jacob), Jemm, Amber, Doug, Travis, Caitlin and Kody, two great grandchildren Braelyn and Caden and also by nieces and nephews Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant son Douglas in 1961; by one sister Margaret Hebert and two brothers Laurence and John Smith. A Graveside Service will be held at Gladeside Cemetery, Gladeside, NB, with Pastor Drew Mersereau officiating on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2:00pm With Covid Restrictions in place.
