Obituary of Fern E. Egers
Fern E. Egers, 90, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 following a brief illness.
Born in Lickford, Victoria Co. NB she was the daughter of the late George and Clara (Bishop) Langin.
She was a active member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and the Independant Order of Foresters. Fern enjoyed a full and active life, some of her activities include embrodry, playing the piano, singing, dancing, bowling, cooking and most of all she loved her family and friends.
A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Gardena Forester (the late Arnold) of Waterbury Ct. USA; her adoring granddaughter Jodey Bannister (Robert) of Pine Glen, great grandsons, Clayton and Kyle; great great granddaughters, Cayla and Cassanda, her beloved friends and chosen daughters Joan McAllister Stewart and Ovilla Eger Dickie, her sisters, Clair Hatfield (Harold) and Una Jardine and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband William Alexander Egers, her son Marven Egers, sister Mearl Thompson, brothers Logan, Herbert and Eben.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Saturday, December 31, 2005 from 11:00 AM till the time of the service 2:00 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Fern's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
