Obituary of George Carroll
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George L. Carroll at the Moncton Hospital on June, 5th 2013 at the age of 89 years. Born in Sunny Brae, he was the son of the late George and Evelyn Carroll. A Veteran of WWII, he served his country with honor both in England and European Countries as an Engineer with the Canadian Army. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion BR# 54. George was Predeceased by his first wife Edith LeBlanc. Left to mourn his passing wife Elsie; two daughters Dianne McKellar (John), Francine Groslouis (Paul), four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two step sons Stephen Kendall and Clifford Kendall; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Sunday, June 9th 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with the Royal Canadian Legion prayer service being held at 3:45pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 10th 2013 at 2:00pm with Father Charles Broderick officiating. Family flowers only please.
