Obituary of Geraldine A. Estabrooks

Geraldine A. (MacKelvie) Estabrooks passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Born in Rockland, NB on May 25, 1918, she was the last surviving daughter of the late Norman and Maude (Farrer) MacKelvie. She she will be fondly remembered by her husband of 69 years Kenneth C. Estabrooks of Moncton; sons Brian (Pat) Estabrooks of London, ON, and Colin (Marlene ) of Hollywood, FL; daughter in law Dianne Estabrooks of Peterborough, ON; seven grandchildren Amy, Andrew, Alicia, Scott, Jennifer, Heather, Stacey; several great grandchildren; sister in law Isabel MacKelvie of BC; several nieces and nephews; sister in law Grace Estabrooks of Sackville and her sons Glen (Kaye) of Moncton and Dale of Sackville. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Eric Estabrooks; three brothers Bayne, Robert and John; infant brother Elton Farrer; infant sisters Grace Evelyn and Norma Maude. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 10:00am until time of service which will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Owen Dawe officiating. Interment will be in Sackville Cemetery at a later date. In Geraldine's memory, donations made to Diabetic Association would be appreciated by her family.
