Obituary of Gary J. Arsenault

Gary J. Arsenault, 57, of Memramcook, passed away at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Born in Alberton, PEI, he is the son of Valmore Arsenault and the late Irene (Cormier) Arsenault. Gary was a longtime employee with over 30 years of service with the CNR, he was presently working at the Hump Yard. An avid sports fan, he loved hockey and football he was a die hard Boston Bruins and the Miami Dolphins fan. Gary was also an animal lover, he adored his cats, Larry, Josie and Patches and his faithful dog Caesar. A loving and caring dad, grampy, brother and friend to all that knew him, he will be deeply missed by his daughter Crystal Arsenault and her fiancé Ross Smith of Moncton; his grand daughter Julia Smith; his father Valmore Arsenault; three sisters Debbie VanBuskirk (Greg), Sharon Doyle (Leo) and Mary MacDonald (Stuart) all of PEI; his brother Billy Arsenault (Wendy) of PEI; his best friend Wilfred Knight of Memramcook; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Irene Arsenault. At Gary's request there is no viewing at the Funeral Home The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Lutz St. Moncton on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
