Obituary of Greta Irene Parker

Greta I. Parker, 90, of Moncton, passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Friday, December 30, 2005. Born in Moncton on August 17, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Elsie (Smith) Steeves. She was a former member of the Floral Rebekah Lodge and is a member of Pearl Rebekah Lodge # 9. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Steeves of Halifax, two sons, Reid Parker and his wife Wanda of Lower Coverdale and Kenneth Parker and his wife Elizabeth of Weldon, NB; eight grandchildren, Juanita, Andy, Davies, Jodi, Vicki, Harlan, Kim and Mark; seven great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Sean, Brittney, Colton, Jered and Justin; one great-great grandchild and by several nieces and nephews. Greta was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and her adopted parents Reid and Kathleen Steeves she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Parker in 1980, a grandson Jamie and by two brothers, Ronnie Hope and Kippie Steeves. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 2, 2006 at 3:30 PM. The Pearl Rebekah Lodge will be conducting a memorial service at Tuttle Brothers Monday at 2:30 PM. Interment will be in Shenstone Cemetery in the spring.
