Obituary of Arthur George Page
Arthur George Page, 85 years, of Riverview, passed away at The Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday December 25, 2005.
Born in Upper Coverdale, NB he was the son of the late William and Grace Frampton) Page, and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Phyllis Cuthbertson) of 64 years.
A member and former elder of Trinity United Church, Riverview, he was a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for several years.
He served overseas from 1941 to 1945 with the 14th Field Ambulance Corp. RCAMC, and was a member of The Riverview Veterans Association.
He was employed with the T. Eaton Co. as a TV Technician prior to being co-owner of Eagle Electronics Ltd. until his retirement in 1978.
He was a very loving father, grandfather and uncle. Besides his wife he is survived by a son David (Barbara) of Truro, NS, daughter-in-law Diane (late Brian) of Rothesay, NB; two sisters Elsie of BC and June of USA; five grandchildren Tammy (Guillaume) Dauphinee, Krista (Derek) Law, Cindy (Steve) Allison, Melissa (Todd) Webster, and Alex Page; one great grandchild Ettnie Webster; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Brian in 2001, three brothers Edward, Harold and Jack.
Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview on Wednesday December 28, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
The Riverview Veterans Association will be holding a prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM.
The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday December 29, 2005 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating.
Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In Arthur's memory, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by his family.
