Obituary of Helen Doris Bourque

Helen D. Bourque, of Riverview, NB and formerly of Sherrard Ave. Moncton; passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at Monarch Hall in Riverview, on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Born in Moncton, NB on November 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Anselme and Margaret (Thibodeau) McIsaac. She was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. A loving and caring mother, nanny, sister and friend to all, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Brenda Day (Robert) of Riverview, Donna Bourque of Moncton and Judy Hudson of Bedford, NS; her son Gary Bourque (Catherine) of Hampton, NB; her adoring nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Corrine Penney of Moncton; brother Bob McIsaac (Linda) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Bourque in 2006 and by seven siblings Evelyn Cormier, Rita Bourque, Mary Leger, Verna Gallant, Dorothy McIsaac (infant), Joe McIsaac and Don McIsaac. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral mass will be held from St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday March 23, 2011 at 10:00am with Fr. Yvon Arsenault officiating. Donations in Helen's memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by her family. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at a later date.
