Obituary of Francine Robichaud

It is with great sadness that the family of Francine Robichaud, of Moncton NB, announce her peaceful passing at the Moncton Hospital on June 17th, 2023, at the age of 67. Francine is survived by her family, including siblings, George (Debbie), Yvette (Lawrence), John and David Robichaud; her nieces, Sarah (Daniele) Foran, Katie Foran, Dominik Robichaud and Christine (Charlie) Robichaud; her great nephew Rafael and her great nieces Oélie, Rosalie and Delphine. Francine is also survived by her companion, Brian Miller, who has been a neighbour and dear friend for many years, as well as her lifetime best friend, Lisa Vienneau, who she loved and cared for deeply. As a young adult, Francine helped her parents, George and Aurella Robichaud, run their wholesale business for many years. Upon selling the family business, Francine worked at Tony’s Esso Gas Bar on Elmwood Drive for over a decade, making many friends and memories. Afterwards, she went on to work in Alberta until her retirement where she returned home to Moncton. Francine was a vibrant, fun-loving woman who was passionate about spending time with her family and friends above all else. She loved spending her summers in her backyard pool with her favourite people, soaking up the sunshine and singing along to her favourite tunes, which she always had playing in the background. Her door was always open to her loved ones and she will always be remembered for her unconditional support, being a great listener and a caring shoulder when those she loved needed her. Francine did not have any children, however she treated her nieces and their children as her own and always lit up with a smile in their presence. Francine was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She brought love and joy to all the lives she touched and will be missed deeply. As per Francine’s wishes, no service or visitation will be held. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Habitat for Humanity (habitatmoncton.com), or to a charity of ones choice in her honour. A remembrance and celebration of Francine’s life will take place at a time to be decided. Please contact family for details.
