Obituary of Helen H. McLaughlin

Helen H. McLaughlin, 87, formerly of Buckingham Place, Riverview, passed away at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor in Riverviewe on Sunday, January 29, 2006. Born in Bathurst, NB she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lea (Tilbert) Tripp. Helen was formerly employed with the T. Eaton Co. and retired with 28 years service. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club, she was a life member of the New Brunswick Women's Institute and the New Brunswick Liberal Association, Albert County Riding. She is survived by her daughter, Joan and her husband Robert 'Bob' Hyslop of Riverview; sister, Lillian Steeves of Riverview; half sister, Mildred Fraser of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Walter P. 'Pat' McLaughlin in March 1976, a brother Robert Tripp and two half sisters Hilda and Gladys. At Helen's request there is no visitation at the Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 1:30 PM. Interment will be in Grey's Island Cemetery in the spring. No flowers, donations to the Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
