Obituary of Ruth T. Wood

Ruth Wood, 70 , of Moncton, NB; passed away at her home, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Rita (McLeod) McEachreon. After retiring from Warren Transport, Ruth enjoyed travelling, spending time at the cottage and boating on the Richibucto River. A graduate of Harrison Trimble, where Ruth played guard with the Harrison Trimble Varsity Basketball Team. A fun loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend she will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael Wood (Shelley) and Christopher Wood and their father John Paul Wood; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Julia and Adam, Brenden and Connor; her life partner and best friend for 25 years Louis Richard; one sister Anne Raphael (the late Alan) of Toronto; three brothers, Keith McEachreon of Moncton, Gary McEachreon (Lucie Seguin) Dieppe, and Danny McEachreon (Maria) of Moncton; and by her nephew Mark McEachreon. A private service will be held for family and close friends at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with Fr. Charles Broderick officiating. COVID-19 restrictions are in effect and masks must be worn.
