Obituary of Shirley Ann Bastarache

Shirley Ann Bastarache of Moncton passed away with family by her side at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday evening, January 14, 2013 at the age of 77 years. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Leger) McDonald. She retired from CFB Moncton for several years working in clerical services. Survived by daughters Karen Doucet-Sweeney (Paul Sweeney) of Toronto, Eileen Bastarache (William Wilson) of Moncton, and Donna Doucet of Moncton; grandchildren Kristopher, Kevin, Sean, Kelly, Justin, Amy, Josh and Jolene; great grandchildren Kayla, Adrienne, Emmary, Jack and Camryn; former husband William of Moncton; sisters Patsy Lane (Bill) of Dieppe, Dolores LeBlanc of Moncton, and Brenda McDonald of Ottawa; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Barbara and Deanna; brothers Stanley, Rick, Gary, Jimmy and Donald. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz Street on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00am with Father Charles Broderick officiating. Donation's in Shirley's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
