Obituary of Phila Irene MacEachern

Phila Irene MacEachern of Moncton passed away with family by her side at The Moncton Hospital on Friday June 18, 2010 in her 81st year. Born in Jailletville, NB on July 10, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Beers) Girvan. Phila retired from the Moncton Hospital in 1991 after 23 years service. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Hawco (Late Ray) of Moncton; sons Royce (Trudy) Girvan of Salisbury and Harvey (Debbie) MacEachern of Truro, NS; grandchildren Melissa Girvan, Riley, Emma and Marly MacEachern; sister Alda Cutcliffe of Moncton; brother Russell Girvan of Indian Mountain; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Everett in 1979, children Gayle, Wade, Dawn, Jimmy, and Helen; son in law Ray Hawco; brother Albert and infant brother Sammie; Sisters in law Winnifred and Janice. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday June 22, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 11:00am with Rev. Danny Compton officiating. Interment will be in The Browns Yard Cemetery, Browns Yard, NB. In Phila's memory, donations made to The Dawn MacEachern Memorial Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis foundation or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
