Obituary of Shirley M. Mellish

Shirley Marjorie Mellish, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Born in Stilesville, NB she was the daughter of the late Earl Barry and Lillian (Wilson) Doiron. Shirley was a retired ECG Technician at the Moncton Hospital with over 20 years service. She attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a member of the LOBA, and enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, computer, but mostly enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Hazel (Denis) Nielsen of Moncton, sons Douglas (Becky) of Rvierview and Michael (Karen) of Moncton, daughter in law Minerva Mellish of Lakeville, sister Eileen (Dan) Whyte of Moncton brother Ivan Barry of Moncton, brother in law Richard (Evelyn) Mellish of Scotch Settlement, sisters in law Audrey Mellish of Medicine Hat, AB, and Ann Wallace of BC, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Shirley was pre-deceased by her husband Douglas Mellish in 2004, daughter Shirley B. Mellish in 2004 grandson Denis D. Nielson in 1999, brother Kenneth Barry and 2 infant sisters. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 3:30 pm with Pastor T. Friesen officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
