Obituary of Juliette M. Marie Nowlan
Juliette M. Marie Nowlan, of Moncton, NB passed away at The Villa du Repos Nursing Home on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in her 93rd year.
Born in Moncton, NB on February 13, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Melas and Albina (Girouard) Bourque. Juliette was a former employee of The T. Eaton Co. Juliette and her husband Roy lived in Moncton before moving to Montreal where they lived for 35 years. After retirement they moved to Riverview where they enjoyed the remainder of their lives.
She is survived by her daughter Jeannine (Ron) Marcoux of Riverview; son Paul (Dianne) Nowlan of Beaver Bank, NS; sisters Lorraine Bernard of Montreal and Rita McDonald of Riverview; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Roy Nowlan on June 28, 1983; sisters Ann-Marie Larabie and Jeannette Duguay.
Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00pm & 7:00 to 9:00pm. Parish prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8:30pm.
The funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11:00 am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. There will be a reception to follow.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
In Juliette's memory, donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation; The Alzheimer’s Society of South East NB or to The CNIB Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
