Obituary of Joan M. Covill
Joan M. Covill, 62, formerly of Riverview, passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton on Monday, April 10, 2006. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Marie (Mullin) Porter.
Joan spent much of her early years growing up in Sunny Corner, NB. She was formerly employed with Co-op Atlantic, however retired early due to illness.
Joan was a member of the MS Society. She enjoyed knitting as long as her health permitted, she later became a collector of angels. She will be sadly missed by her family. Joan is survived by her husband Barry Covill of Moncton; son David Beaumont (Holly) of Miramichi; daughter Cheryl Steeves (Terry Gibson) of Upper Coverdale; step daughter Amanda Covill of Hamilton, On.; grandson Mackenzie, her brother Reg Porter (Betty) of Riverview and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Memorial Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jim Nicolle officiating.
Donations in Joan's memory made to the MS Society would be appreciated by her family.
Interment in be in the Miramichi in the spring.
