Obituary of Louise Violet Dickson
Louise Violet Dickson, age 80 years of Hopewell Cape, NB; passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, July 7th,2010. Born on February 7th, 1930; she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Emma (Edgett) Dickson. Louise was a member of the Hopewell Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed the activities of her church. She loved nature, her pet cats, gardening, writing poetry and painting. As a direct descendant of Robert Dickson, early settler of Hopewell Cape, Louise was a knowledgeable resource when she worked at the Albert County Museum. Louise is survived by her sister Sylvia Willett; sisters-in-law Florence Dickson, Dorothy Dickson; nieces Susan, Marilyn, Joan, Jean and Sherry; nephew Darrel; also by many cousins extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Clyde and Ronald; sister Cathleen; nephew Harold Dickson; and brother-in-law Harold Willett. By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held from the Mountain View Cemetery in Lower Cape on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 at 1:00pm with Pastor Ron Nelson officiating.
