Jim, Mie and family, I am so very sorry for your loss of Erik. I have so many wonderful memories of Erik and Connor as kids growing up together on Franklin. They became fast friends shortly after we moved there in 1989 and remained close through most of their lives. My thoughts are with you.

My condolences to Erik's family, especially his children. He was a wonderful, charismatic person. We had great conversations over the years, and he really made me stop and see things differently. He was an intelligent, caring and kind person. He worked hard for his family and loved them dearly. When I last spoke with him he talked about how proud he was of his children and how hard he was working to provide them with the best life. I will forever remember his great sense of humour and how kind he was to all he met. He will be missed by all. I am glad to have known such a kind person.
