Obituary of Nina M. Walker

Nina M. Walker, of 21Crystal Dr. Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the age of 98 years. Born in Clairville, NB on May 21, 1909 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Beck) Kenney. She was a retired homemaker and farmer. Nina was the eldest member of St. Pauls United Church, Riverview, NB; she was also a member of the Senior Citizens Group in Riverview. She is survived by her grandchildren Charlene and Freeman Courier of Barnesville, Lorna McClelland of Red Deer AB, and Garland and Yvonne Morton of LaCombe AB; great grandchildren Cassidy and Courtenay Courier, Benjamin Herrell, and Chantelle and Megan Morton; niece Margaret and Dr. Paul Cormier of Shediac; nephews Ronnie and Phyllis Beers of Harcourt, and Walter McCrae of BC and their families. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Russell Walker in 1970; daughter Devida Morton-Jensen in 1995; sister Ethel Reade in 2002. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday December 28, 2007 from 12:00pm until time of service. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. There will be a reception to follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion Presbyterian Cemetery in the spring.
