Obituary of Gary Jack Bursey

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Gary Bursey (Sugarman) on December 26, 2022 at the age of 79. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Harold and Amy Bursey, Gary was also predeceased by his sister Faye and brother Jimmy. Gary was loved and will be missed by his wife Rhonda, his son, Todd (Danielle); daughter, Tanya (Derrick); step daughter Jane (Chris) Pfister; his beautiful grandchildren; Chad, Ryan, Davy-Mac, Rosie, Angus and Charlie; by his sister Ruth (Richard) Goutal; by his many nieces and nephews who sure loved their Uncle Gary. Over the years Gary was involved in the car business and then opened and operated his construction company Sugar Shack Maple Products for over 40 years. He loved his sugar woods and never missed a year in 53 years, something he was most very proud of. was the old Sugarman. Summer time was spent at the cottage on Grand Lake, where entertaining his family and friends was always a joy, especially hosting Bursey Day. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Monday, January 09, 2023 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm and 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will be held from Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 2:00pm with Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Interment will be held at Birchill Cemetery, Berry Mills in the spring. Those desiring donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated. There are no words to express the wonderful care Gary received from Dr. M. Belliveau, Extra Mural visits from Stephanie and the all the EMT team.
