Obituary of Sanaa Bennani

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, Sanaa Bennani of Moncton, NB, on August 17, 2023, at Maison Albert House. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, on June 23, 1980, she was the daughter of the Abdelahad (Bennani) and Rekia (Jabri), and wife to Younes (Bouida).

Sanaa is survived by her children, daughter, Selma; sons, Yacine and Adam.

Sanaa was an active member of the Moncton community and advocated for women and children's wellbeing. In her spare time, she loved to support newcomers’ families and kids in sports. She was a devoted mother and will be missed by her family.

A special thank you goes out to the staff at Maison Albert House, medical staff and friends, family and community. Your compassion and care were truly appreciated.

**Her Salat-Al-Janaza will be today Friday August 18th after Second Jummah Prayers at Moncton Masjid (Jummah prayers at 2:15pm and Salat-Al-Janaza at 2:50pm)**

Burial will be done after Salat-Al-Janaza at Alderwood Cemetery (1094 Coverdale Road, Riverview) around 3:30pm.

We are mourning the loss of our friend and companion, who made an impression on everyone she met. Please join us for a memorial service in her honour. Sunday, August 20th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Kay Arena (99 Wynwood Dr, Moncton).
