Obituary of Nancy Lorraine Keith

Nancy Lorraine Keith, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Jordan Lifecare Centre. 

Nancy will be forever missed by her loving husband, Garnet; her children, Amy, Rhonda (Jeremy), and Brian (Melissa); her cherished grandchildren, Brayden, Dawson, Rowan, Ella and Alex. 

Nancy was the daughter of the late Peter and Vilma Funke. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Dan, sister-in-law Laurie and her brother-in-law Fred. She leaves behind her younger siblings: Pat (Dave), Helen (Barry), Jim (Laura), Ralph, Marilyn (Neil), Marie, Kathy (Dan) along with several nieces and nephews. 

Nancy grew up in Canfield, Ontario and married her sweetheart Garnet in 1970. She was a licensed hairdresser in her early years until she and Garnet moved to Havelock, New Brunswick to raise their family. Once her children were grown, she kept busy with waitressing and cleaning houses. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and her many trips back home to visit her family in Ontario.  

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Jordan Lifecare Centre for the wonderful care that Nancy received. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion BR #49, 18 Kay Street, Petitcodiac, on Friday, December 13, 2024 between the hours 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm.  

If so desired, memorials in Nancy’s memory made to the Friends of the Jordan Life Care Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
