Obituary of Valmond Joseph Savoie

Valmond Joseph Savoie of Salisbury and formerly of Richibucto, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Albert House Hospice at the age of 65 years.

Born in Rexton, NB Valmond was the son of the late Yvon and Laudia (Robichaud) Savoie. Valmond enjoyed many years as a Lobster Fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors. Above all, Valmond enjoyed time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

Valmond is survived by his son Justin Savoie (Vanessa) of Salisbury, Dallas Daigle of Riverview; daughter, Megan Savoie (Martin Yates) of Riverview; grandchildren, Sage, Landon, Harland, Mia, Jamie, Riley, Finn, Chloe and Charlie; sister Flora Stewart of St. Charles; brothers, Blair Savoie (Kim) of Charlottetown, PE, David Savoie of Moncton.

Besides his parents Valmond is predeceased by his brothers, Donat, Perry, Bruno,  Allain and Ronald; infant sister, Joanne.

At Valmond’s request, there will be no public services held. Cremation will take place at Fergusons Crematorium, Riverview, NB.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (506-857-9544), Riverview, NB.
