Farwell my dearest friend. I have known you 22 years and there have lots of laughs, a few tears but mostly fun times. Such a grand sense of humor. You are going to be sadly missed, someday we shall meet again. I will keep a check on Janice and your kitties. I will never forget.
Barry Ripley was also a scholar and a gentleman. In 1964 he won an award from the Canadian Association of Physicists, and a slide rule from the Association of the Professional Engineers of New Brunswick and The Roy T. Steeves Scholarship.

I last saw you. & so many wonderful neighbors friends & family on Garys sudden homegoing at my cancer surgery. Trusting. Please accept my condolences on Barrys passing. I first met Barry in 1974 while a member of Truro karate Club. He came down frequently as a guest instructor. He had a real gift for passing on his wealth of knowledge and did so very generously. The Truro club was still very new and Barry made a great contribution towards its success. May he Rest in Peace Gary MacGrath
I was saddened to see the announcement of Barry’s passing. As a former student I am grateful for his generous nature; remembering his fine skills as an instructor and sensei. Thoughts and prayers for the family… A donation to St Paul’s has been made in memory of Barry.
