Obituary of Terence William Gentile

Terry Gentile of Riverview passed away at Monarch Hall on Tuesday May 10, 2022 with family by his side. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, he was the son of William P. and Jamesina (Lackey) Gentile Always first in Terry’s life was family and friends. He was employed with Nav Canada as an Air Traffic Controller for 36 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing and the "camp life". He was past president of Moncton Fish and Game Association and a member of the NB Wildlife Federation. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Terry Lee (Dickson) Gentile, three children, Peter Gentile (Eunsuk), Ian Gentile (Julie), Bonnie Gentile (Alan Serson), step daughters Kari Forbes (Alan Pendergast) Karyn Richard, Jennifer Greene (Stewart); twelve grandchildren, Cathryn, Alexander, Benjamin, Dylan, Owen, Ryan-James, Brock, Madalyn, Ethan, Hayden, Gabriel and Solomen, two-great grandchildren, Paisly and Isabella; brother Shaun (Kathy); two special friends Mark Forbes and Mike Richard. A celebration of life will be held at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 2 pm, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society in Terry’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
