Obituary of Louise Eva Chabassol

Louise Eva Chabassol of Westville, NS passed away at the Halifax Infirmary on Friday, April 22, 2022. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Patrice and Yvonne (Gaudet) LeBlanc. Louise was married to her loving husband Harold of 45 years. They raised two wonderful children, Shane and his wife Jennifer of Stellarton, NS and Paula Chabassol of Riverview, NB. She loved her camping trips to Salsman Provincial Park where she would read her book under the shade of tree. She adored her grandchildren, Owen and Avery, Ryan and Jillian. She loved watching her grand children compete in their sports and cheering them on. Her voice would carry over everyone and the team players would ask "who is that". She is the youngest of 14 children to patrick and Yvonne LeBlanc. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives, especially her nine surviving siblings. Sisters, Thérèse Bourgault (late Mike), Marie-Anne Allain (late Laurie), Yvonne Robichaud (late Alonso), Patricia Losier (Alfred), Lorraine LeBlanc, Stella Lipton (Cy) ; brothers, Normand (Yvette), Leonard (Simone) and Wilfred (Gloria). Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Jeanne Gaudet (Albénie) and brothers, Yvon (Françoise), Robert (Murielle), and Émerie J. (Marilyn). The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 2:00pm with Father Phil Mulligan officiating.
