Obituary of Joan P. Robichaud

Joan P. Robichaud (MacKenzie), age 91, of Moncton, NB passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Friday, April 01, 2022. Born in Bathurst, NB, raised in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Ora Bishop and Mamie (Stultz) MacKenzie. Joan always loved family gatherings, and getting together with family & friends to play cards, do crafts, or if only to have tea. She was a great cook & baker. In her later years it became a tradition to have regular weekly outings with her niece Sylvia & sister Torry. She so looked forward to those outings as they were always full of teasing, giggles, shopping & eating out. Joan will be sadly missed by her son, Bob Robichaud (Brenda) of Moncton; and their children, Melissa Robichaud, Robert Robichaud (wife Bobbi), grandsons Nicholas Bourque and Jimmy Peters; sister Torry Hawthorne as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Joan was predeceased by her husband, Omer (2017); daughter, Cindy Peters (2008); sisters, Doris and Jean; brothers, Donald, Harold, Stuart and Jack. We’d like to thank the Staff of Deerwood wing at Spencer's Home, and all others who helped along the way with Joan’s care. A private graveside service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Joan may be made to a-charity of the donor’s choice.
