Obituary of Rita Arcese

Rita Arcese, 82, of Moncton, NB; passed away at Faubourg du Mascaret, Pavilion Richard in Moncton on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born in Shediac Bridge, NB., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Rita (Gallant) Dawson. She was a former employee of Scotia Textile. Rita enjoyed baking, playing bingo and doing crochet work, however her greatest love was family gatherings, her children and her grandchildren. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be missed by her loving children Lena Hickey (John) of Moncton, Angie Spencer (Bill) of Salisbury, Andrew Arcesi (Kim) of Moncton and Mike Arcesi of Moncton; her adoring grandchildren Ryan, Jim, Sasha, Anthony and Mia; two sisters Barbara Dupuis (the late Roger) and Carol Stewart (the late John) and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Mario Arcese in 2007. The family are receiving family and friends at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home to celebrate Rita's life on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from the hours of 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Covid restrictions include, mandatory masks, social distancing and limited to 50 people at one time.
