So very saddened to learn of your Dads passing. We extend our most sincere condolences to you and your family. Harrison was a true gentleman. If an appraisal was needed commercially that would stand up under any circumstances, it was your Dad that was called. He was honest and fair in all his dealings. We will always remember Harrison and Elizabeth heading to the main lift with skis over their shoulders from the Sugarloaf Hotel at approx. 10:30 am. We had been skiing for awhile by then:). What wonderful parents you had. They will be remembered. Blessings to you all. Sincerely, Michael and Mary and Family

Harrison Goodwin was my first boss. At 18 years old I began working at W.H. Goodwin & Co. Ltd. as his secretary in 1976.It was during this time he completed the report for Coal Branch...I believe it was three volumes...a huge project. I left after two and a half years as I married and moved to Rexton. He was a very generous boss giving me 4 weeks paid vacation in the middle of the summer. (of course this was so he could go sailing) Aaron was born while I was working there and I remember all you boys as very young children. Harrison was always so proud of his boys and his love for your mother was very evident. She was a lovely lady. I have many memories of working for your father and we did keep in touch for a few years. I ran into him in Miramichi a few years ago and it was to see him again. My deepest sympathy to all the family, I know you will miss him.

I am sorry to read of the passing of Harrison. We would have first met in 1994 as I was working as a Assistant Manager at Scotiabank St. George Street and returned as the Branch Manager in 2002 and stayed till the closing of the Branch. I very much enjoyed the many conversations and friendship that we had over the years. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. A good time was had by all.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I did not know him well, but met him a few times over business transactions. He was a honourable gentleman. Small story about your Mom Elizabeth which goes back to pre- Harrison days. I remember her from her basketball league days when she we were both teenagers. She played for Queen E as I recall. Both amazing parents which you must be proud of.

I always enjoyed my phone conversations with Harrison over the years. He would call to check on the dates for the house cleaning and a 5 minute phone call would turn into an hour long phone call. He would always apologize for taking up so much of my time but he always taught me new things every time. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I do treasure all of our phone calls. He will be missed by myself and his cleaning ladies. Condolences to all of the family.

We extend our sympathies on the passing of a wonderful gentleman. Harrison stood tall in the business community and was most helpful, meticulous and tireless in his various projects over the years. It was a pleasure working and discussing the appraisal issues with him over the years as well as his many adventures. He knew how to tell a great story about his travels and fun events. May the profound memories be some comfort in the days ahead. With regret, RANDY A. ROTH
