Obituary of Wayne J. Catsman
Wayne Catsman, of Moncton passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Born in Windsor, ON he was the son of the late Isaac and Madeline (Chevalier) Catsman. He retired after many years working in Sales and Marketing for Consumer Glass. Wayne was very appreciative of the many friendships from Country Meadows Golf Club, the Moncton Lions Club, Carson Drive, and neighbors from Smith Street. Wayne was a keen supporter of many local charities. Wayne was greatful for the wonderful care received from many Dr's and nurses throughout the last few years.
He is survived by his loving daughter Cindy Smith (Michael) of Moncton; grandchildren whom he was especially proud of Alex and Erin; sister Shirley Muzzatti (Roland) of Sudbury, ON; sisters-in-law Stella Steeves of Moncton and Julie Surette (Ron) of Shediac; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of over 40 years Helen Annette (Casey) Catsman.
Private family services will be held.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Donations in Wayne's memory made to the Salvation Army or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
