Obituary of Lenore Jacqueline Cormier
Lenore Jacqueline Cormier, 93, of Shediac and formerly of 960 St. George Blvd. Moncton NB; passed away in Moncton on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Born in Toronto, On; she was the daughter of the late Philibert and Alma Marie Pilotte.
She was a member of The Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Lenore was a former resident of People Park Tower where she resided for 17 years. She was referred to as the "The Flower Lady" in recognition for her beautiful flower gardens she maintained at the residence. Lenore loved to read and was the librarian at People Park Tower it was later that it was renamed Lenore's Library.
She later moved to Manoir Pascal Poirier in Shediac.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons Arthur Cormier (Cecile) of Fredericton, Pierre Cormier (Suzanne) of Moncton and Jean-Paul Cormier (Denise) of Shediac; son in law Gilles Boudreau (the late Alma) of Fredericton; four grandchildren Charles (Lindsey), Ginette (Scott), Matthew (Jessica) and Justin and by her three great-grandchildren.
Lenore was the last surviving of her immediate family.
Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband Gerard Joseph Cormier in 1973, one daughter Alma Boudreau; one sister Gloria and two brothers Bernard and Frank all on Ontario
The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary at a later date.
Donations in Lenore's memory can be made to your Local Chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
The family would like thank the staff the of the Manoir Pascal Poirier in Shediac for the exceptional love and care given to Lenore over the past years.
