Obituary of Constance Mary "Connie" LeBlanc
Constance Mary "Connie" LeBlanc of Riverview and formerly of Peoples Park Tower, Moncton passed away at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 89. Born in Joggins, NS she was a daughter of the late William and Minnie (Casey) White. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Connie was employed with the East End Boys Club as a cook and worked a short time with Marven's Co. She was a devout Christian and a long time member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and an active member of the CWL for 58 years. She received the Keystone award from the Boys Club for her dedicated service. Connie had a quick wit and was a kind loving and generous person, she gave of her time, her love and prayers to many. She volunteered her time with many different organizations including 57 years of making Christmas boxes at St. Bernard's Church and the East End Boys Club for over 30 years. She was a friend to all and was there to give a helping hand, a kind word or a smile. She was loved by all.
Survived by her children, Leo Paul LeBlanc, David LeBlanc and Theresa LeBlanc (Edward) all of Moncton; known to her grandchildren, Derrick (Carla), Allison (Ron), Maria (Whalen), Emily (James), Vanessa (Troy), Andrea (Marc) and Matthew (Brenda) as Nano, Noona and Nanny; 15 great grandchildren; special nephew Todd White (Sharon) and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Laurie LeBlanc in 1995; sister, Marjorie; brothers, Douglas and Barkley.
A Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford St., Moncton on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00am with Father Charles Broderick officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
