Obituary of Elizabeth "Liz" Amos
Elizabeth "Liz" Amos of Moncton, NB passed away at the CHU Dumont Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Born in McNairn Settlement, NB she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Flossie (Cameron) Amos.
Liz was a member of St. David's Presbyterian Church. She was dedicated to her family and was sure they were taken care of before her own needs. She was an avid dart player and was a member of the Moncton Dart Club and Champlain Club. Her beautiful needlepoint work can be seen through out her home as well as the many things she Knit.
Survived by her daughter, Rebecca Leeworthy (Mark) of Montrose, BC; sons, Michael Amos of Sainte-Marie- de- Kent, Robert Goodwin of Moncton; sisters, Jean Pollock (Tom) of Winnipeg, Marion Amos of Ottawa, Barbara Amos (Neil Gardner) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Judith Amos of Springhill,NS; brothers, William and Donald Amos both of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; grandson, Joshua Leeworthy of Montrose, BC; granddaughter, Brittany Leeworthy (Troy Lawrence) of Whistler, BC; great- grandchildren, Avery and Tegan Leeworthy, Sophi and Nate Lawrence all of BC, she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Amos.
Due to covid 19 a private family and friends memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home.
A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family wish to extend a special Thank You to the Extra Mural Nurses for their care and compassion.
Interment will be in McNairn Settlement Cemetery at a later date.
